An Analysis the Service Level of Ternate – Bitung Ferry Route

Data analysis in this study was carried out using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method. is used to map relationship between service (importance) and performance (performance) of each attribute according assessment/perception passengers on Ternate – Bitung Ferry. The level Ternate-Bitung Sea transportation mode method obtained by variables that have high importance/expectations, but performance/reality quite good. Services are considered good include: Information services Ferry Rates, Convenience seating Ferry, Lighting at night, Availability departure/arrival schedules, Appropriate/not rate rates. While less important passengers, whose so think excessive, namely: Strict action officers for those who violate, Places storing goods, compass/GPS navigation tools, life jackets/life jackets, first aid kits, radio equipment, distress signals.
